423 Epoxy Pros is a Johnson City-based epoxy floor and concrete coating installer serving the Tri-Cities and Northeast Tennessee. We work on residential garages, basements, workshops, commercial floors, and light industrial spaces from the I-26 corridor out to Bristol and down to the North Carolina line. Every job we run uses our own crew — we don’t subcontract the coating work.

What sets us apart

The single biggest reason epoxy floors fail is poor preparation. A lot of installers shortcut the prep step because grinding concrete is hard, dusty, slow work. We don’t. Every floor we install gets full diamond-grind preparation, moisture testing, and crack repair before any coating touches the slab.

That’s how a coating that should last a couple of years lasts ten to fifteen — especially in the Tri-Cities, where heavier freeze-thaw cycling than lower East Tennessee makes the prep step matter even more.

Our process

1. Free on-site quote. We come out, measure, look at your concrete, and put a written quote in your hand.
2. Concrete prep. Diamond grind, crack repair, joint fill, surface profile to specification.
3. Moisture and adhesion testing. Critical in the humid Northeast Tennessee climate.
4. Coating application. Manufacturer-spec primer, basecoat, broadcast (if applicable), topcoat.
5. Cure and final inspection. We walk the finished floor with you. You sign off.

We hold a current Tennessee Home Improvement License (and a full TN contractor license for projects above $25,000) and carry general liability insurance. You’re welcome to verify our license directly on the Tennessee state verification portal before signing any agreement — we encourage it.
